Affiliate to the Ketsuen Dojo for growth, learning, and community. Experience seminars, events, and networking to enhance your practice and be part of our international martial arts family.
We have the opportunity to attend Seminars throughout the United Kingdom, Scotland, Sweden and Germany.
The Ketsuen Dojo is deeply rooted in the ancient disciplines of feudal Japan, its culture and style with adherence to the behavioural codes of the Samurai Warrior.
We accept applications from those Instructors/Sensei who have evidence of current / regular training and/or teaching a recognised Japanese Martial Art at the level of Shodan, 1st Dan Black Belt and above.
The Organisation can facilitate / signpost "first aid training, teacher training programs and rank testing opportunities for those persons who may seek official affiliation in the future.
Affiliation to the Ketsuen Dojo has a small administration fee. It is open for dojo practicing Japanese Tai-Jutsu, Jujutsu or Budo with a structured Self-Defence Program. Before becoming an affiliated dojo member, a dojo is assessed by the President and Vice-President.
The Board of Directors will approve the syllabus of instruction and ensure the headmaster’s personal conduct are compliant with the Honbu Dojo goals and standards.
Assessment of technical ability and also professional ethics and personal conduct of the Instructor will be assessed by the President and Vice President.
All of the official affiliated dojos remain equal and totally independent in their own right.
They have the freedom to run their own classes, teaching syllabus and courses without undue interference from the Organisation. These activities must abide to the highest levels of safety practices, high teaching standards and ethics demanded by the Organisation. These includes full compliance of the Health and Safety Regulations, First Aid Certifications, Abiding to the countries Tax and Payment Laws and all Law and Legislation concerning Well-Being / Safeguarding and Best Practices for Everyone Involved.
All Affiliated Dojos must have an Open and Transparent Policy of Inclusion & Diversity.
Dojos are free to leave the Organisation upon written request to the board.
The Ketsuen Dojo holds the right of terminating "Official Affiliation" to any Dojo or Instructor that is acting against the ideals and standards of the Organisation.
All Affiliated Dojos will have the right to display the Ketsuen Dojo badge on all of its web-site, social media and any other agreed public facing documentation.
The Ketsuen Dojo Organisation Sleeve Badge may be purchased from Honbu Dojo, by an affiliated dojo cho.
Taking Your Current Dan Grade to become a Certified "Goshin Jitsu" Qualification.
Official Testing Syllabus available. If you currently hold a Dan Grade then you may apply to have that same rank, tested, graded at the same level under the strict criteria of the requirements of the Ketsuen Dojo Dan Grade Syllabus.
You can become a Certified Goshin Jitsu YuDansha utilising your years of hard work and commitment in your chosen Japanese Martial Discipline, demonstrating the Self-Defence system that enables you to perform the "testing criteria" of that chosen level.
All Students and Instructors MUST ALWAYS hold valid Insurance and Medical Cover.

Association). This allows all of the affiliated dojos to be insured "member to member"
